A second chance for
recycled plastic bottles.

We embroider all clothing with 100% recycled PET quality thread.
The thread is made in Germany from recycled transparent bottles.

🚮

From bottle to thread:

1. PET bottles are collected and cleaned.

2. The bottles are crushed into flakes.

3. Flakes are processed into granulate.

4. Pellets are melted and extruded into fibers.

5. Fibers are spun into sustainable yarn.

6. The resulting yarn is used to create our unique embroideries.

You can find more information about OEKO-Tex® Standard 100 and GRS-certified yarn at www.madeira.de

Your order
protects our oceans .

Each order finances the collection of 0.22 kg of plastic waste before it reaches the sea. The entire process is tracked via CleanHub's Track & Trace technology to ensure a certified impact.

Track & Trace

About CleanHub

CleanHub uses technology to keep plastic out of the ocean by recycling waste in regions without existing systems. This enables proactive brands to fund plastic recovery in vulnerable coastal communities in Asia and Africa. Collection is transparent and supported by TÜV SÜD-ISO approved AI technology for tracking. Unlike approaches that first recover plastic in nature, CleanHub prevents plastic from entering the ocean in the first place.

Plastic waste is collected by local collectors in vulnerable coastal regions. These areas often lack effective waste management, leading to plastic waste entering the environment.

The collected waste is recorded using a specialized app that utilizes QR codes and photos to register the plastic waste. This allows for precise tracking of the waste from collection to processing.

The waste is sorted and either recycled or used for energy recovery. Non-recyclable materials are co-processed in cement production, providing an environmentally friendly alternative to landfilling or incineration.

CleanHub provides real-time data and audits to ensure the traceability of every collected amount.
